Growth Opportunities and Company Structure

Yes! Our company recognises talent and does not believe in timelines in terms of growth opportunities. You could start as an intern and quickly become a team leader within one year if your performance is high.  As our company grows, new leadership opportunities emerge, meaning you can take on new responsibilities. For these positions we always look internally first to see if our existing talent would be the most suitable for this position.

The B Futurist team is composed of 73+ employees, organized into several key departments: Business Operations, HR, Finance, Marketing, Wholesale, and Supply Chain. The number of team members varies per team.

At B Futurist, our management style emphasizes self-managing teams. We believe in empowering our team members to take initiative, make decisions, and drive projects forward with minimal oversight. This approach fosters a sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration, allowing us to be agile and responsive in a fast-paced environment. By promoting autonomy and trust, we create a dynamic and innovative workplace where every individual can thrive and contribute to our collective success.

The initial employment contract at B Futurist is for 7 months, including a one-month probation period. After this period, a contract review will determine the duration and salary of the next contract, based on performance. We adhere to the Dutch 3x3x6 rule, which means a maximum of 3 temporary contracts over a period of up to 3 years, with a maximum interval of 6 months between contracts before a permanent contract is required.

Our internships typically last six months unless stated otherwise in the job description. If your study internship allows you to work for approximately six months, we can accommodate it. Additionally, thesis internships can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate shorter internships due to the comprehensive training we provide to all our interns.
